I have been so busy lately with our kitchen reno, our new dog and great weather that I haven't blogged in ages. I thought I would share some of my recent finds from thrift stores and the Vintage Chicks Sale that was held again in Priddis Alberta.

| A Punjabi Phulkari Shawl from Pretty little Things at the Vintage Chicks Sale. These shawls were hand embroidered with silk on hand woven cotton. They were often embroidered by young women in preparation for marriage. |
