I have always loved vintage ordinary household items. My grandparents were experts at making do with what they had, and fixing up old things that others saw no value in to create beautiful useable items. I have done various types of crafts starting with sewing when I was 13 years old. Since then I have knit, done needlework, quilted and most recently done a variety of paper crafts. I love thrift stores and antique shops and am always looking for that great unique find!!!

Things I made this week
True to my creative recycling self... these are my creations these last few weeks. Burlap clutch (basmati rice bag), recycled paper notebooks, shabby roses (reused ties, thanks indygo junction!) altered CD photo ornament (memoriesbylynn), halloween tags (wine crate inserts). My plan this week is to tackle some eco friendly lunch wraps, tea towel totes and children's pillowcase dresses from my stash of vintage fabrics.
